Ustad
Rashid Khan's growth from a child prodigy to a maestro is
noteworthy.
His technical grasp and creative aesthetics is mesmerizing.
His deep, rich and sonorous voice is remarkable.
He excels in almost all the facets of singing.
His performance, voice, phrasing, virtuosity, sensitivity,
khyal singing, alaap, slow or fast tempo, bandishes, bol-bunt
or taan and total control over sur and taal contribute to
his imaginatic performance.
It's an experience to watch and listen to his performances.
